PIER stands for Pharmacy, Innovation, Experience and Research and is a 5-week program that introduces the career of pharmacy to high school and undergraduate students. I produce weekly curriculum for undergraduate students interested in pharmacy as the curriculum coordinator. I also collaborate with fellow pharmacy students and faculty on ways to improve PIER.

My responsibilities as a pharmacy intern is to coordinate calls with patients, physicians, and pharmacist about prescriptions. I accurately count and fill prescriptions. I also impute new faxed, written, and telephoned prescriptions for patients. In the summer of 2022 I was responsible for mailing and delivering prescriptions.

My responsibilities as a pharmacy technician were to accurately count and fill prescriptions. I also provided customer service to patients at the drive-thru and counter.

My responsibilities as a pre-intern were to maintain drug inventory, utilize robot drug carousel, and assist the marketing team with claim overflow .
