Unbound is an international development organization founded in 1981. Unbound believes the best path out of poverty is a self-directed one. Operating in 18 developing countries around the world, the team listens to the children, elders and families they serve, helping them develop personalized plans based on their unique challenges, needs and skill sets. At Unbound I led the development and execution of workplace giving, identifying strategic partnerships to support Unbound. My experience in the for-profit sector helped me understand the unique needs of organizations, leaders and their employees. I have a genuine passion for helping organizations develop their culture and engage their employees in giving back to their communities.

Compass Minerals is a leading provider of essential minerals, including salt and plant nutrition products. While I was there, the publicly traded company operated 21 production and packaging facilities with more than 3,000 personnel throughout the U.S., Canada, Brazil and the U.K. I led the Corporate Affairs team and was responsible for planning, developing and managing the implementation and evaluation of corporate affairs programs for the global company across a wide range of functional areas, including internal and external communications, media relations, community relations, corporate giving, and corporate brand. In 2017, I, along with two colleagues, chartered and launched Compass Minerals’ first Employee Resource Group. I continued to serve in a leadership role with the group until my departure.

Scripps Health is a nonprofit health care system based in San Diego, California. I managed marketing and physician activities for Scripps Clinic and Scripps Green Hospital including media relations, physician seminars, development and coordination of physician ad placements, and re-branding initiatives.
