Here are some of the projects I worked on:• Generation of cardiac patches applying 3 dimensional (3D) bio-printing technology and genetically programmed stem cells; in collaboration with University of Houston and Center of the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS) in biological laboratories of National Aeronautics and Space Administrations (NASA).• Retrograde coronary venous delivery of fresh ADSCs for treatment of chronic porcine myocardial infarction model.• Studying the cellular and molecular regulatory mechanisms involved in stem cell based cardiac tissue regeneration.• A human clinical trial on application of autologous ADSCs for regeneration of articular cartilage defects• A human clinical trial on application of family ADSCs for treatment of children’s’ Duchenne muscle dystrophy

Here are some of the projects I worked on:• Engineering 3D culture systems for isolation and growth of cancer stem cells (CSCs): application for in vitro anti-cancer drug studies• Patterning of human endothelial cells and mesenchymal stem cells encapsulated in Poly Ethylen Glycol (PEG) based hydrogels for engineering vascularized bone tissue structure• Bottom- up layer by layer engineering of articular cartilage tissue• Effect of matrix compressive modulus on zonal marker expression of stromal cells in chondrogenesis
