I founded Emerald Law & Consulting to empower women to seize control of their futures--whether their goal is to protect their families, grow their wealth, support their communities, or all three. By educating, supporting, and uplifting women, I am doing my part to close the estate planning gap. In fact, despite what we've been told, estate planning is for ALL of us: women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, etc. What else sets me aside? Here's a few: * I'm enthusiastic and encouraging, not gloom-and-doom or lecture-y. * I'm going to use plain language as much as possible. Although we can't escape legalese entirely (insert eye roll here!), I do my best to break it down, make it approachable, and make sure you feel 100% comfortable and confident. * My services are always flat fee, so you can plan ahead (no hourly billing surprises here) and even use a payment plan if it works for you. * I'm eco-conscious and mostly virtual. Although Missouri still requires wills and such to be signed in person in most cases, all of our other interactions are virtual. Easy, safe, and convenient. * I'm a busy mom, wife, business owner, friend, sister, daughter, etc. You wear a lot of hats too. I get it, and sometimes having someone that "gets it" makes ALL the difference. * I LOVE what I do.
