Currently looking for a new Color/Cosmetics line in the Reno, NV Area. I have been in the Cosmetics/Skincare industry since I can remember. I grew up in a salon, which lead to me managing a salon in Pittsburgh. Sales/Sales Training has also been a substantial part of my resume. Putting those two together provides me all the necessary tools to excel as a Cosmetics/Skincare Consultant/Sales Specialist. It is something I love to do & have a passion for. After leaving BMW Sales team I was offered a position as the Prestige Manager at Ulta. It wasn't until then that I realized how much I missed being in the beauty industry. It was my home, although I left it for better paying jobs outside of the industry, I now realize that I would rather do what I love (not that the pay is bad!). Being the Prestige Manager at Ulta has helped me greatly in my current positions, I learned extensively about all the brands, leading me to be able to explain the differences between products with ease and expertise, as well as help the clientele with anything they need in the store. I love to learn & keep up with all new product launches & brands. To be good at consultations you must know your products & the competitors. I love what I do, it shows with my enthusiasm and commitment to the customers. I strongly believe that honesty is what has gotten me to where I am. I don't want to just sell them products today. I want to have them as a permanent client, I do that by being honest, the brand I am representing may not always have the perfect product, but I always know that by suggesting the products they will be most pleased with will keep them returning to me, because in doing this they trust me as the expert, not "that person trying to sell them something". I know this has created very strong relationships with both the consultants at the stores and the customers.
