    Laid off: My role supported operations to ensure maximum production performance of build-to-print, complex machined sheet metal fabrications, including welded and mechanical assemblies supporting the aerospace industry, primarily for engine and exhaust applications. This manufacturing company laid off ten in various depts. due to aerospace contracts pushed out several years, me included. In this position, I maintained heavy spreadsheets for costing support, day to day review of direct labor entries, daily entry of raw materials and other direct costs, review subcontractor costs for accuracy and part production costs for completion of job costing and close to stock, then invoice all receivables. General Ledger accounting included maintaining over $8M in Fixed Assets, fixed costs and various month-end journal entries, preparing ME/Qtly/YE reports and supporting accounting staff. The CFO asked me to lead the process in collecting all outstanding receivables; over $4M in mid-2023. This required review of all contracts, implementing a trackable spreadsheet to understand terms, quantities and edition of each part manufactured. Once created, I was successful in collecting just shy of $3M in outstanding revenue. Assisted with implementation of the annual inventory and inventory management. Enjoyed daily communications with all departments.
