Laid off: My role supported operations to ensure maximum production performance of build-to-print, complex machined sheet metal fabrications, including welded and mechanical assemblies supporting the aerospace industry, primarily for engine and exhaust applications. This manufacturing company laid off ten in various depts. due to aerospace contracts pushed out several years, me included. In this position, I maintained heavy spreadsheets for costing support, day to day review of direct labor entries, daily entry of raw materials and other direct costs, review subcontractor costs for accuracy and part production costs for completion of job costing and close to stock, then invoice all receivables. General Ledger accounting included maintaining over $8M in Fixed Assets, fixed costs and various month-end journal entries, preparing ME/Qtly/YE reports and supporting accounting staff. The CFO asked me to lead the process in collecting all outstanding receivables; over $4M in mid-2023. This required review of all contracts, implementing a trackable spreadsheet to understand terms, quantities and edition of each part manufactured. Once created, I was successful in collecting just shy of $3M in outstanding revenue. Assisted with implementation of the annual inventory and inventory management. Enjoyed daily communications with all departments.

Manage all accounting including daily, month end and yearly close including journal entries, general ledger account reconciliation and corresponding spreadsheets, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, credit card accounts, and in-house payroll using QuickBooks including W-2’s and 1099’s. Human resources included recruiting and onboarding. Managed all corporate licensing, insurances, and filings. Daily coordination and communication between department managers of install, service, and sales. Planned increase in revenue from $4M to 9M by directing new advertising campaigns. Credit assessment and risk management with UCC filings on B2B. Applied for and won as a BBB Torch Awards for Ethics Finalist in 2019 and Winner in 2020 and 2022. This company is a commercial and residential contractor.

Position Eliminated: I had the pleasure to streamline processes, roles and positions, including my position during this short stint. In overseeing HQ business processes, I ensured service delivery, quality control, branding standards, accuracy in all company created documents, reports and communications. I supervised, coached and mentored staff. Reviewed/Managed the $2M monthly revenue for program bookings from a global team (133 account executives from over 25 countries) including revenue/booking/payment cycle, receipt/invoice processing and weekly AE payments in both USD and foreign currencies. Early on, I developed and implemented a new A/R collection and tracking process which resulted in bringing all outstanding receivables current to industry norms. Assisted with enhancing reporting from two proprietary platforms which resulted in better data collection and reporting. This resulted in the owner realizing she created my position too soon. Produced 30 monthly/quarterly advanced Excel reports from data extracted from the two proprietary platforms & designed new reports. Created on-demand tradeshow/trip, marketing & account executive reports. Assisted with management of the marketing program deliverables, annual reporting and implemented/developed a social media content calendar & assisted with pushing out social media.

Produced all invoicing & revenue management of over $7 million revenue. Implemented processes to ensure accurate client onboarding between departments after issue arose. Overhauled documents, processing & communication standards between Client Services, Scheduling, & Accounting departments while closing loopholes. Brought all outstanding A/R to terms in six months which includes researching unpaid insurance claims & working with clients. Wrote manuals on processes & procedures. Daily communication & coordination with clients, insurance companies, scheduling & client services departments. Processed insurance claims. Managed vendors & accounts payable. Processed payroll of hourly, salary & commissions via ADP.
