As a groom / marketing intern I work the mornings in the show barn preparing horses for their daily workout. Duties include putting horses off and on the hot walker, saddling, bathing, rehabilitation, and assisting minor injuries. Throughout the afternoon I'm preparing a strategic marketing plan for Sterling ranch to determine ways to increase horse sales, while also increasing the public relations among Sterling Ranch and their legendary stallion Smart Spook.

As a Senior Resident Advisor I was responsible for managing 15 Resident Advisors as well as responsible for the safety of 300+ students living on campus. Duties included nightly rotations to ensure safety and security among students, holding weekly meetings with staff, fostering community relationships among staff and students, and ultimately provide a quality living environment for students who live on campus.
