🇸🇬 Hi there! I’m Taran. 🎓 I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environment: Earth Sciences & Economics at McGill University. My passion lies at centre of sustainably financing the fight for climate change. ♻️ I am deeply interested in the integration of ESG practices into our economy, green/clean energy and how innovative breakthroughs in the cleantech space will combat the unrelenting impacts of climate change. Currently, I am exploring the field of impact investing as a Junior Impact Analyst at Clear Skies Investment Management. I am also undergoing training as a BizOps Associate at Front Row Ventures. 👨🚒 During the COVID-19 pandemic, I led a team of 48 firefighters into emergency incidents at Singapore’s largest fire station. I specialised in residential and industrial fires, suicide rescues, road traffic accidents, HAZMAT incidents, medical emergencies and the training of my team. Assimilating to a leadership role in the workforce pushed me to my limit and was responsible for the immense personal growth that defines me today.⏱️ In my spare time at McGill, I co-lead the Malaysian & Singaporean Association and explore Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) topics as an analyst at ESG McGill.
