Head of battery powertrain for the Brum 9 car. Designing and improving designs form last year to aim to achieve a competing car at the 40th annual Shell Eco Marathon.

Actively working with the chassis department and assisting the battery powertrain department with completing engineering drawings. Designing parts for the Brum 8 car for both departments.

During my second year at university, I was tutoring a student in GCSE Maths, Chemistry and Physics while balancing my university work, society work and revision. I would tutor him twice a week after I came back from university. As my cousin is dyslexic, teaching him different concepts in chemistry specifically was more difficult than in maths. This experience helped with my problem solving as I had to find different ways in explaining concepts. My time management also improved as I was tutoring him from the summer before my second year to the end of my second year where I had a lot of exams at the end of the year. This resulted in him passing his GCSE’s and moving onto collage and me gaining a 2:1 at the end of my second year.
