The GreenLight Fund identifies innovative, high-performing nonprofits in cities across the country and supports their successful expansion into the local community when these nonprofits show the results needed to have a significant impact on priority local issues.The GreenLight Fund supports organizations that address issues affecting primarily low-income urban children and families in key areas such as education, youth development, workforce development, and health.Founded in the Greater Boston area in 2003, GreenLight Fund expanded its model to the San Francisco Bay Area and Philadelphia in 2012 and to Cincinnati in 2015.
