I have a BS in Management and Insurance minor (Katie Insurance School) from Illinois State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from National-Louis University. After working in the insurance industry for three years, I determined that I had a strong desire to earn a Masters degree, and diversify my skill set. After completing an undergradute degree from Illinois State University, I began my career at Allstate Insurance Company as a Risk Management Associate. After that, I gained experience as a Production Underwriter with American Country Insurance Company. I am currently employed as a Claims Adjuster with Gallagher Bassett Services, where I am pursuing an AIC designation. As both a teacher and business professional, I have a lot to offer any organization. I have acquired many skills that can be adapted to any profession. I am flexible and adaptive, a strong team player, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong organizational and planning skills. I have experience as a project manager, underwriter, claims adjuster, and teacher. I am excellent in developing strong relationships.
