I’m a writer, an organizer, and a creative doer. As a freelance creative professional, I provide creative services & strategic support to individuals, organizations, and agencies. That mostly means things like communications support, brand strategy, copywriting, creative direction, and content organization, but I also work as a facilitator, producer, community organizer, voice-over talent, and social media manager. For the past several years, I’ve focused my professional development on racial equity and community leadership. I’m a trained facilitator, an Affiliate Practitioner for Courageous Conversations About Race, and a proponent of revolutionary love and nonviolent conflict reconciliation. I also spent six years leading a team of more than 25 volunteers to host a monthly creative event series.I care about intersectional environmentalism, equity in all things, the art of gathering, getting a full night's rest, Oxford commas, and learning about birds and other wildlife. I used to be a teacher and I feel like I probably still carry that "not like a regular teacher, but a cool teacher" vibe.
