Dr. Tara Wilkinson-McClean is the Founder and Communications Strategist of One Marque Inc., a communications firm that helps people and brands to tell their stories and connect with their audience. With over seventeen years of experience in the field, she has a PhD in Gender and Communication Studies and was a Global Humanities Scholar at Brown University.Her latest projects include creating the brand positioning for the Barbados Embassy in Braziland digitizing the embassy’s outreach, managing multiple brand’s visibility on a globalsporting platform for the Caribbean Premier League, managing the communications for threeInter-American Development Bank (IADB) funded projects – Arbitration and Mediation Courtof the Caribbean which offers arbitration and mediation services to enhance the region’sbusiness competitiveness, the Skills for the Future programme which focused on expandingopportunities for demand driven training and skills certification by supporting theimplementation of a National Qualifications Framework and the Strengthening Human andSocial Development Programme – an initiative of the Ministry of People Empowerment andElder Affairs which supports the socio-economic development of vulnerable households alongwith designing a national campaign to support the Barbados government’s COVID-19management efforts with the promotion of the BIMSafe and BENApp applications.
