Tara is a public health scientist specialized in environmental health, health equity, and knowledge translation. For over 20 years, Tara has focused on the relationship between the environment and human health with a special focus on upstream health inequities and barriers to health, including climate change. Her reports on nature and human health for the David Suzuki Foundation and Toronto Public Health led to the Toronto Board of Health’s recommendation to increase the city’s urban green space in historically under-served neighbourhoods.
