Growing up in a single parent household, I saw many financial struggles and challenges arise; I knew I wanted different for my life. SO! I graduated from high school, went to college, got TWO degrees and landed a good job making good money. I was on my way!....So I thought!Shortly after graduating college, I got married and two years later, started a family of my own (two sons). Money was good, savings was there, everything was set in place. I was GRRREEEAAT! THEN reality hit, life happened. My husband and I thought it best to go separate ways. My two-income household became one and shortly after, I was forced to quit my job of 7 years. I was panicked! My childhood was becoming my adult life! Luckily, 7 months prior to quitting my job, I gave in to a friend's invitation to a financial workshop. I attended hesitantly because I knew I was on the right path financially. After the workshop, I realized I was in TROUBLE. I knew NOTHING about how money worked. I knew how to make it but not how to make it work for me! I attended all the workshops and learned so much. It was then I made the decision to become a financial campaigner to help give families a chance at becoming financially educated and better prepare for their future. I'm now apart of an organization (World System Builder) that have successfully completed it's first mission of financially educating 1 million now on to financially educating 30 million families by 2030 across the country. Through the workshops, I've not only been able to help many families plan for their future but also, I've secured my children's future, properly protected myself and loved ones in life and death, paid off some of my debts, planning for retirement and estate AND I've TRAVELEDYou may not have encountered my situation or circumstances but maybe you, like me, don't understand how money works, have a full understanding of financial concepts and/or want to improve but don't know if it's possible.
