I designed and developed research tools, including surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions (FGDs), and improved the HIRES Performance Measurement Framework, monitoring and evaluation plan, and key research questions. This framework aims to contribute to systemic change within Canada's refugee settlement infrastructure and to broaden options and increase numbers for refugee protection in Canada to meet current and future labour market demands.To build a strong evidence base to promote the use of workplace-led refugee sponsorship to increase Canadian employers' engagement in the economic integration of refugees, I implemented quantitative and statistical analysis to present insights and trends to stakeholders using Google Data Studio, connecting various data sources, creating interactive dashboards, and customizing the design and layout of my reports. Through the design and implementation of 6 recovery and development projects, I have helped over 5,000 families in vulnerable communities establish or maintain their agricultural businesses and meet the requirements of our donors.One of the standout successes of these projects was our ability to support clients in transforming $35,000 worth of agricultural inputs into $360,000 worth of income, far exceeding project expectations. This was achieved through clear assignment of responsibilities, proactive identification of challenges and swift implementation of solutions. Additionally, I developed M&E tools to track progress and measure the impact of our training programs in agricultural skills and financial management for internally displaced persons and host communities.I also had the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of 40 staff members in providing agricultural inputs and training to support development projects. This led to the creation of research and handbooks that improved start-ups and agriculture in Qunetira. I was also responsible for overseeing the program, financial, and M&E reports on a monthly basis, to maintain funding from donors, increase accountability to the public, and improve performance and decision-making among staff.Finally, I was able to establish a relationship with Mercy Corps, which allowed us to connect with five international donors, such as OFDA, DFID, EU, and others, to support our humanitarian-development project in Syria, despite limited resources. Relief Projects' CoordinatorSyrian Arab Red Crescent Jun 2012 - Dec 2012Quneitra District, Quneitra Governorate, SyriaAs the Relief Coordinator at the Syrian Red Crescent in the governorate of Quneitra, I was faced with the daunting task of coordinating the response to an emergency crisis in June 2012 that resulted in over 120,000 internally displaced persons fleeing to Quneitra from Damascus. In this role, I utilized my problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify the most pressing needs of the displaced population and develop effective solutions to address those needs. I also demonstrated strong planning skills as I organized and coordinated the efforts of hundreds of volunteers, including establishing volunteer teams and developing a comprehensive plan to deliver aid to vulnerable communities.In addition to my strong people management skills, I was also responsible for monitoring and evaluating the progress of our relief efforts, as well as preparing and issuing reports on the impact of our work. I also played a key role in community outreach, reaching out to donors and fundraising to secure the necessary resources to deliver food baskets, infant formula, shelter, blankets, hygiene kits, medications, and school supplies to more than 8600 families, a total of over 50 thousand individuals, in the second half of 2012. Through my efforts, we were able to provide much-needed assistance to those affected by the crisis and help to alleviate some of the sufferings of those impacted by the displacement. -

The first book, "Forensic Dental Evidence: An Investigator's Handbook - First Edition," was the first book in forensic dentistry to be translated into Arabic, and I was one of the first five forensic odontologists in Syria. This required a high level of skill in research, as I had to ensure that the content of the translation was accurate and up-to-date. I also utilized my scientific writing skills to effectively convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.In addition to research and writing, my work on the translation also required me to use my expertise in curriculum development to ensure that the content was appropriate for the target audience. My medical translation skills were essential in accurately conveying the content of the original text into Arabic, while my editing and proofreading skills helped to ensure that the final translation was of the highest quality.The second book, "Forensic Dental Evidence: An Investigator's Handbook - Second Edition," was also a bilingual edition and required me to utilize all of these skills to produce a high-quality translation.
