• Supervise the drilling process to ensure it aligns with the geological objectives and follows safety and environmental guidelines.• Track drilling parameters such as rate of penetration, mud weight, and pressure to anticipate and mitigate issues like blowouts or lost circulation.• Collect and examine drill cuttings, cores, and other rock samples at regular intervals.• Determine the rock type, structure, and mineral content to understand the geology of the well.• Identify and log hydrocarbon-bearing zones by assessing gas readings and fluorescence in samples.• Maintain detailed logs of geological information, including lithology, formation boundaries, and hydrocarbon indicators.• Interpret wireline and mud logging data to assess the presence of oil or gas.• Collaborate with mud loggers to identify potential drilling hazards and zones of interest.• Act as a liaison between the drilling team and geoscience team, keeping them informed of drilling progress and significant geological findings.• Prepare and submit daily reports to onshore geologists and project managers.• Ensure that the data collected is accurate, reliable, and consistent with geological standards.• Oversee the quality of data from mud logging, wireline logging, and core sampling to maintain high standards.• Advise the drilling team on geological aspects such as drilling bit selection, casing points, and total depth (TD) decisions based on real-time data.• Recommend adjustments to drilling parameters or mud weights to avoid drilling problems or to optimize hydrocarbon recovery.• Ensure compliance with HSE guidelines and regulations on-site.• Participate in emergency drills and respond to any incidents related to geological hazards, such as unexpected overpressured zones.• Work closely with petrophysicists, reservoir engineers, and other geoscientists to align drilling activities with reservoir and production objectives.

Participated in numerous assignments and consultancies related to design and supervision of water resources, groundwater basins studies, groundwater modeling, Monitoring and Evaluation water harvesting and water supply and sanitation projects
