Implementing USAID/OTI Transition to New Sudan Program. As a Program Development Officer (PDO) I lead communications with local partners and work closely with members of the Grants Management Unit (MEL, Grants and Procurement team) to oversee activity design and implementation. Specific responsibilities and duties include: • Identify potential assistance recipients, and work with them to design and develop grant concepts and activities, through networking and outreach, under the overall direction of the Chief of Party and/or Deputy Chief of Party-Program, OTI country representative and other program representatives. • Consistently develop strategically relevant concepts that respond to the current situation and established program goals and objectives. • Actively participate in the problem solving and troubleshooting throughout the grant cycle to assure implementation remains within the spirit of the original design concept. • Closely analyze Sudan’s rapidly changing environment on an ongoing basis, and contribute to rolling assessments, strategic review sessions, and recurring meetings, under the overall direction of the country representative. • Use the Activity Database to document and monitor activity updates, in close coordination with other GMU team members. • Work closely with M&E team to coordinate monitoring of the activities under implementation to ensure that they meet activity and program objectives and produce regular site visit reports. • Coordinate with grants and procurement staff to provide sufficient written information for negotiation memos and all relevant contract documents as possible. • Undertake other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Monitor, analyze the domestic and regional political developments and information on Sudan socio-economic and political dynamics in reports, approved social media and blogs as needed• • Cultivate relationships and communicate with civil society organizations relevant government officials, local partners, and members of the diplomatic and donor community • Work in concert with IRI M&E and program personnel to monitor and evaluate the performance of IRI and partner organizations program activities, identifying successes and failures and recommending program adjustments accordingly

Promoting women's empowerment, ending violence against women, and supporting peace and security processes through partners in 12 countries, which are: Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, and Yemen

Teaching Assistant for "Responsible Negotiations" class, at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management. The class is taught to graduate students.

Responsible for a program that is focusing on two thematic areas:1- GBV, with special focus on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Child Marriage.2- Women, Peace and Security (WPS).I was also the NCA Sudan Gender Focal Point. I conducted the first Gender Audit and designed the first Gender Action Plan for NCA Sudan.I was the convener for the WPS working group in Eastern Africa Region.

Stop Killing and Stoning Women was part of a larger project named: Women Reclaiming and Redefining Culture. The campaign was working against culturally justified violence against women in 8 countries in Africa and Asia.

Supervision over a program that was building the capacities of Sudanese young women and men on human/women rights, gender, civic education and other crosscutting issues.
