After seven months of an extremely steep but rewarding learning curve in both soft and hard skills, I transitioned to the role of Deputy Manager and continue to bear much of the responsibilities I held while being the Interim Manager.My main responsibilities include:- Engineering oversight and mission design- Team-leading and report-writing coordination- Workshop facilitation and organisation- Quote preparation, contract negotiation and customer interactionMy main achievements were:- Within five months of starting the job, I successfully led the ANCDF's most complex and in-depth space mission design study to date, involving 42 experts from 8 organisations.- I managed up to five space mission design studies simultaneously during unprecedented peaks of activity, staying organised despite heavy workloads.- I dealt with numerous challenges, including staff unavailability and customer deadlines overlapping.- The projects I led improved customer satisfaction drastically while generating enough income to sponsor several team members. - I exceeded all my yearly performance goals through initiative-taking, autonomous, energetic and resilient behaviours.
