IBM was contracted by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) to provide system support during the deployment of the Navy’s ERP enterprise business solution otherwise known as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Release 1.0. The team is staffed to assist with sustainment and continued deployment support of the Navy ERP & SRM PPS solution, which is defined as support of the initial implementation, as well as those tasks related to the continued development, testing, training, and deployment of additional functionality through 2016.Asset Management Lead• Designed Asset Management process Integrating SAP as the system of record• Updated current business practices in alliance with audit compliance requirements• Created Reconciliation process in order to identify and record asset records that are not updated in SAP• Developed Asset Management Training Session, with job aid materials, which was held to familiarize new SAP users of their role within the Asset Management process• Created four online Asset Management trainings to familiarize new SAP users and Asset Management about the different roles and their responsibilities in the Asset Management process• Led Asset Management Meetings with different Naval Commands (organizations) who currently are utilizing SAP to better establish Navy wide business practices, and propose potential solutions for common issues identified in the system.• Represented ONR on the Navy Capital Investment Program Tiger Team, which was designed to create possible change request to SAP to better assist its users in recording Capital Assets• Assisted end users in utilizing the MM module of Navy ERP, including but not limited to the procurement process and data elements that are mission essential
