-Being responsible for high pressure compressor rotating and airfoil parts for commercial aviation, marine and industrial engines-Substantiating nonconforming parts by performing detailed stack-up calculations, 2D - 3D stress analysis and low cycle fatigue life predictions according to GE design practices.-Engineering support of manufacturing and field issues as well as the technical interface with other functions.-Attended PPR for manufactured engine hardware (at HANWHA, South Korea).-Training new engineers in design analysis and hardware procurement.-Leading design projects such as root cause investigation of field issues, new design aspects and cost reduction, performing design reviews.--LM2500 Base/DLE HPC Stg. 2 Blade Dovetail Crack (Field Issue)To solve the huge customer problem in field, new additional process, manufacturing new parts and application on damaged engines are successfully completed in 2 months. --LM2500+/+G4 Stg. 0 Blisk Material Change (Field Issue/Cost Reduction)Corrosion problem is found in field engines. Project is responded both corrosion and cost reduction. --LM2500+/+G4 HPCR Stg. 2 Disk Corrosion Repair ProjectTo avoid corrosion problem in compressor module of the engine, shim design and analysis are completed.
