I am an IT Specialist at EMM-IT GmbH, an IT solutions provider in Germany. I joined the company in January 2024, after completing a six-month internship as a Security Operation Center (SOC) Analyst at CyberNow Labs, a global cybersecurity firm. As an IT Security Specialist, I contribute to strengthening our customer’s information security protocols by initiating ISO 27001 ISMS development, aiming to enhance security measures. I also conduct risk assessments, update security policies and documents, and support various communication channels as an admin.Before joining EMM-IT in January 2024, I completed a six-month internship as a Security Operation Center (SOC) Analyst at CyberNow Labs, a global cybersecurity firm. There, I gained valuable experience in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents and threats, using various tools and frameworks, such as Splunk Enterprise Security, IBM QRadar, SentinelOne, Crowdstrike, Proofpoint, Phishing Analysis, Kali Linux, MITRE ATT&CK, and Wireshark. I also collaborated with other analysts, engineers, and managers to improve the security posture of our company and mitigate risks.I have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Hacettepe University, where I learned the fundamentals of management, finance, accounting, marketing, and economics. I also completed an intensive IT Bootcamp at CS Visor, where I obtained several certifications, such as Security +, ISO 27001 ISMS, Foundation Level Threat Intelligence Analyst, OT Security Fundamentals, and NSE 1 Network Security Associate. These certifications have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to perform security audits, assessments, and investigations, and to use security information and event management (SIEM) systems, endpoint detection and response (EDR) technologies, log analysis and detection techniques, and penetration testing and ethical hacking tools.I am passionate about cybersecurity and eager to learn new skills and technologies to advance in this field. I aim to protect digital assets and ensure data and systems' integrity, confidentiality, and availability. I am also interested in applying my business administration background to understand the strategic and operational aspects of cybersecurity and communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers. I am looking for opportunities to grow professionally and personally, and to contribute to the security and success of our organization and clients.
