A business leader and a jack-of-many-trades with mastery over a few, thanks to the invaluable experiences I’ve had over my 9 year long career across business management, strategy, operations, sales, and analytics spanning across India and Africa. I have a penchant for numbers, data and solving problems and believe that there’s nothing that can’t be solved if one just looks at the data closely enough. A firm believer in focusing on the process – the results will follow. Starting out in business analytics gave me my first taste of how data can be used to decode and break down business problems, how numbers always tell a story and how the right analysis can always yield solutions - tools that form the foundation of a sound business manager. Post my MBA, where I delved into operations, strategy and a bit of finance, I moved to Africa to be a part of the Vendor and Warehouse operations of the largest e-commerce company in the continent. I got my first hands-on experience at leading large teams, optimizing operations, process improvements, MIS, cross-cultural teamwork and stakeholder management, all in a new and unknown market. Upon my return to India, I joined OfBusiness, then a small startup now a behemoth in the startup space, where I got my first sales stint - developing B2B marketplace for construction material in AP & Telangana and built my own pan-India team of Key Account Managers on the lending side and a whole new P&L contribution to the company. My next stint was in Corporate Development wherein I worked on executing M&As end-to-end based on strategic and commercial fit. My last stints as interim CEO of acquired subsidiaries for post-merger integration and business stabilization had me managing large P&Ls, leading large teams, running manufacturing units and optimizing operations at scale. Outside of work you can find me engrossed in - books, stock screeners, content on planes, astrophysics, evolution and modern history; or playing poker.
