I graduated from Carleton University with a degree in Communications and Media Studies. During my time at Carleton I accrued work experience through mostly jobs in the service industry as I always tried to maintain my academics as a priority. In 2015, I returned to India where I gathered more professional work experience. I spent 4 monthsas a Quality Associate where I made sure our publications were up to client expectations by checking language, spelling, and grammar, as well as general formatting. After that, I spent 3 months as a Content Specialist where I wrote content, analysed client data, generated user reports, and designed marketing collateral. During this time, I also directed my own team of interns to aid me with the user report generation. I thoroughlyenjoyed this job but only spent three months there as I was to return to Canada to continue my education. From these two opportunities I developed a number of professional skills including market research and publications, as well as stronger sense of teamwork.Growing up, I spent a lot of time moving around. Amongst other skills, I believe this has enabled me to become adaptable to anysituation I am placed in. Throughout my, what I consider to be, excellent schooling all over the world, I have developed a number of intrapersonal skills I believe are important in aprofessional world. I also was given the opportunity to learn a few languages, although not all fluently. My French, I wouldsay, is at a competent level, as I have been learning it for many years.
