Project is expected to generate an additional profit of around USD 0.5 Mn annually with an investment cost of USD 0.6 Mn Recently closed out anaerobic effluent treatment plant project worth CAPEX USD 6 million in coordination with Veolia Water Technologies (Netherlands), and involved construction of new digesters, pumps, agitators, dosing system and gas treatment and compression sections. Currently boiler fuel load has been partially shifted to treated biogas from the anaerobic system.

Performing in the capacity of Project Manager, led the team during design, planning and execution of major retrofit projects of CAPEX USD 3 million for enhancement of process quality parameters in coordination with Ekato RMT (Germany), Coek Engineering (Belgium), Loterios Srl (Italy) and Invista Technologies (PTA Licensor) during turnaround in March 2020. Apart from changes within the core reactor of the plant, other challenges included management of external stakeholders’ engagement, procurement of rare titanium metallurgy, risks associated with retrofit installation and lean execution schedule. In addition, also managed in-house minor modifications for process improvement with annual CAPEX ranging around PKR 15 million.
