As the CEO and Founder of Edible®, I lead the world’s most beloved and leading omni-channel gift and treat destination. We bring happiness to all of life’s occasions with our array of irresistibly fresh products, including handcrafted fruit arrangements, gourmet chocolate dipped fruit, FruitFlowers®, Edible Bakeshop and more. The very first Edible® store opened its doors in East Haven, Connecticut in 1999. I was inspired by the convergence of three trends: the growing consumption of fresh fruit, the robust growth in the specialty foods market and the increasing amount of money Americans were spending on gifts. The first Edible® franchised location opened in 2001 in Waltham, MA. Since then, the company has grown to more than 1,000 stores worldwide.
