Tariq serves as a Senior Partner at RK Global, an international growth marketing agency. He played leading roles in founding 2 start-ups - www.industrybay.us and www.mab.tech. While with a boutique sports marketing company he helped spin off its corporate responsibility programs into a registered charity.Tariq was a Founding Member and Secretary of Khelshala, a registered charity in India, endorsed by the Squash Rackets Federation of India – that combines squash, tennis, academic tutoring and yoga to benefit underprivileged children. Khelshala is an international affiliate of the Squash and Education Alliance which launches and leads youth programs in the United States and around the world. During 2020 and 2023, Tariq was awarded Honorariums for service to Khelshala, by the Salama bint Hamadan Al Nahayan Foundation to supply images for education and awareness at COP 28 at the "House of Sustainability," and at the United Arab Emirates Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020.Tariq holds degrees in Government from Bowdoin College as well as Education with a specialization in Physical Education and Coaching from Boston University. As a collegiate squash player and co-captain, Tariq ranked #1 at Bowdoin College, was State Champion in Maine and individually top 40 nationwide. Tariq interned at the Aga Khan Foundation USA in Washington, DC and volunteered his time with the Mother Teresa Missionaries of Charity in India.Beginning in 2000, Tariq served as a Research Assistant at the Center for International Development at Harvard University, where he co-authored research in Global Information Technology Report 2001-2002: Readiness for the Networked World with the World Economic Forum which was published by Oxford University Press in 2002. Between 2003-2004, Tariq served as a United Nations Volunteer in Uganda reporting to Cisco Systems, the U.S. Agency for International Development and the United Nations Development Program. Based at Makerere University, he developed educational opportunities for disadvantaged youth through the Least Developed Countries Initiative. Tariq later joined Reebok’s Human Rights Programs at their headquarters in Canton, Massachusetts and conducted a field mission to China.Tariq successfully coached squash teams at Commonwealth School, Phillps Academy Andover, Concord Academy, Tufts University and Harvard University. He served as the Technical Director at Complete Squash Camps and Kidsquash at Harvard University. In 2011, Tariq was named the “Developmental Coach of the Year for Squash,” by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee.

Kidsquash made the game of squash inclusive by exposing the young to a new activity and most of all encouraging them to develop a lifestyle through a lifetime sport. Kidsquash was a nonprofit, community squash program implemented at Harvard University.Kidsquash was endorsed by US Squash and Massachusetts Squash. It served over 100 children ages 8 to 17 from more than 30 towns as well as 50 public and independent schools in the Greater Boston area. Kidsquash was founded by Satinder Bajwa, former Director of Squash at Harvard University, initially as a pilot program in 2004 and gained its 501c 3, nonprofit legal status from the Internal Revenue Service in 2007.
