Provided the student perspective of 76,000 UMass students on the governing body of five UMass campuses- Voted on policies that directly affect the students of UMass such as, tuition increase, approval of capital budget, construction projects, Title IX, and approval of new academic programs- Met with state and federal policy makers to advocate for the rights and demands of the student body- Served on the Committee on Advancement, Administration & Finance, Academics & Student Affairs- Major accomplishments included: Voted to lease the UMass Boston Bayside property to Accordia Partners for $235 million, voted against the raise in tuition and launched a student’s first campaign to enhance student morale and involvement on campus- On-Campus committee membership included: Search Committees for an Associate Director of Residential Education, Commencement Committee and Student Advisory Council

Advocated for the concerns of all students attending University of Massachusetts, State and Community Colleges in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

- Represented approximately 11,000 undergraduate students- Met bi-weekly with the Chancellor and Vice Chancellors to discuss student priorities on campus- Participated in various university committees and organizational meetings to ensure student voice and concerns were heard, including Construction Impact and Awareness Committee and Residential Life Committee

- Wrote bi-weekly policy briefs and talking points for the Senator- Researched and resolved issues on constituent projects including immigration, food stamps and health insurance- Advertised the Senator’s public events to her constituents through cold calling and in-person site visits
