The last 15 years have been extremely interesting in my life as a mechanical engineer. I have successfully finished my MSc and PhD studies in Tallinn University of Technology (https://www.taltech.ee/en/). At the same period of time I managed to work as a Chief Designer in Vertex Estonia AS (www.vertexestonia.eu) to utilize my theoretical knowledges in practice and vice versa. My field there was design and manufacturing of heavy steel structures and reflector dishes for Satellite Earth Station Antennas. I have managed almost 100 projects to fabricate about 150 earth station antennas steel structure. This gave me a valuable experiences in daily basis communication and teamwork with other engineers, designers and project managers internationally.About 5 years ago I decided to make a little turn in my career. After little pause I joined Tallinn University of Technology as a product development engineer. Addition to mechanical engineering (CAD/FEA) I manage 3D scanning and photogrammetry lab also do some teaching which was absolutely new and very interesting experience for me.In parallel I do some mechanical engineering as a freelancer.To solve technical problems I like to see general picture but at the same time use systematic approach to stay focused and get detail understanding of the problem reasons. My weakness here is that sometimes I tend to go too deep into details.The most exciting for me is to improve product design or fabrication process. I am open minded and like to analyse and test different ideas and solutions no matter how silly they sound. I am able to make decisions and ready to take the consequences.As a mechanical engineer I am interested in:- working in product or technology development team- participate in projects as a freelancer- being a copartner or board memberI am a lifelong learner and enjoy self-improvement.
