Tarn Bregman Email and Phone Number
I am proud to currently be working for three separate, but equally engaging, organizations. I am a story editor at The Planet Magazine, Western Washington University's award-winning environmental sciences publication. I also work for the university as a public relations and communications consultant between the Salish Sea Institute and the Institute of Energy Studies. Finally, I get to enjoy reporting in the field (or should I say on the slopes) as an intern for The Ski Journal. Each position takes me outside through some form of storytelling. Whether it be editing the latest Planet Magazine issue, working with alumni to learn what they are doing in the field, or chasing a skier down the hill for a quote, I am happy my work contributes to the people of Washington State and their relationship with the environment. My work tends to focus on the environment and sports. Outside of the office, my interests tend to include the same things. Away from the computer, I am likely mountain biking, skiing, backpacking, fishing, or one of many other activities that lead to time outside. In the future, I would like to continue my work reporting on the environment, outdoor sports, and the people behind both.
