Tarnisha Cliatt serves as President and CEO of the Manasota Black Chamber of Commerce (MBCC). The MBCC is focused on advancing the interests of its membership and affiliates through advocacy, education, business and economic research, accessing competitive intelligence and forming strategic alliances to maximize opportunities for success. In this position she interacts with businesses across State of Florida and we're all beginning the launch of Greater Tampa Black Chamber of Commerce. She consulted with hundreds of businesses/non-profits providing business development planning and technical assistance. Additionally, she assisted over several businesses in acquiring needed capital for start-up and expansion, securing amounts ranging from $25,000 to $1.5 million. In 2015 Tarnisha was named to the Manatee County Government Financial Advisory Committee. In 2017, she was also appointed by the Mayor to the City of Bradenton CCRA board. Along with her most recent appointment to the National Black Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors."To economically empower and sustain African American communities through the entrepreneurship and capitalistic activity within the Greater Tampa Bay Area and via interaction with the Black Diaspora."

To support the homeless population by creating avenues to secure housing vital to a national effort to assess the status of the homeless and bring much needed funding into Manatee/Sarasota Counties for critical homeless service provision.

To make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners that represent the consensus of the Advisory Board regarding matters related to the best combination of available revenue sources to fund county services, programs, and capital projects,; focus on budget and implementation for Manatee County; address funding issues and find resolutions to these issues.
