Initiated Regional pricing for Membership based on World Bank rankings. Today PMI uses that regional model for all its products. Working with Regional teams to ensure PMI membership is relevant to all regions and feedback on products and offerings is gathered from all parts of the world. Responsible for the digital community of more than 1M users that provides a safe place for members all over the world to connect with each other.

Dubai

Set up PMI operations in Middle East through a business entity in Dubai, UAE. Handled all aspects of new business operations including starting new business bank accounts, recruiting local talent, setting up new office space. Initiated PMI presence in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through chapter presence in collaboration with Saudi Aramco. Also initiated PMI presence in Tunisia and Morocco through local chapters. Expanded PMI operations in Africa through new Chapters in Kenya, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Uganda, Ivory Coast and SenegalConceptualized and started the PMI Africa Conference to promote PMI brand name in the region and bring Project Management professionals from the continent under one roof.

Dubai

Strategic Consulting, including assessment of products and services as well as multiple business plans with financial projections for business interested in expanding operations in Middle East, India and Africa. Advising associations/businesses on formation of legal entities and business structures, membership and other revenue management as well as structuring commercial transactions.Overseeing the growth and development of the three existing association clients- American Society of Quality (ASQ), International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and Project Management Institute (PMI)Working with Dubai Chamber on setting up Dubai Association Centre as a hub for international not for profits entities in Middle East.

Singapore

Worked as a the Executive Director of the Asia Pacific Infant Nutrition and Young Child (APIYCNA) Association. I worked on incorporating the client in Singapore and on leading the lobbying and advocacy efforts on behalf of the association. Worked as a consultant for Project Management Institute (PMI) to expand presence in Asia Pacific through new Chapter setup.. Provided governance and policy support to existing chapters as well working on legal incorporation on PMI entities in the region. Worked as a consultant for International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) primarily towards organizing successful trainings, seminars and conferences across Asia Pacific region to promote revenue from the region. Provided leadership, and support to client committees and task forces and actively participate in client strategic and management committees for both PMI and ISPE. Also provided input to associations on various global initiatives from an Asian perspective regularly and specifically at leadership retreats Worked on a strategic assessment for Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) about the potential of the Asia Pacific region for DMAI. This project involved secondary and primary research with leading CVBs in the region and analyzing findings to provide specific recommendations to DMAI. Presented findings to the International Board at the Annual meeting.Coached, mentored and groomed junior team members in the team and effectively created a succession plan within the team prior to move to Dubai.

National Kidney Foundation is Singapore's largest not for profit association. I worked there as an Account Manager working in the fund raising department responsible for generating funds by working with Corporate organisations. Consistently among the top performers in a team in terms of revenue raised. Also worked on getting sponsorship from associations such as Nestle, Julie Biscuits and Yakult.
