Taroh is a Venture Capitalist at Beyond Next Ventures(BNV) and an MPP candidate at the National Graduate Institute of Policy Studies, GRIPS. Prior to BNV, he cultivated a startup ecosystem in rural Japan and emerging countries by providing services to governmental agencies or local governments at Deloitte and Plug and Play Japan. Taroh has worked throughout the startup ecosystem but has mostly focused on designing schemes for startup ecosystem development and invested in deeptech startups. Taroh graduated with a BA from Akita International University, experienced study abroad at the University of Malta majoring in counter-terrorism and security studies, and is now enrolled in an MPP program focusing on STI policy at the National Graduate Institute of Policy Studies, GRIPS.
