Taro Yaguchi is a registered patent attorney in Japan (26 years experience) and the founder of Keisen Associates, a Japanese patent law firm headquartered in Tokyo, with offices in Philadelphia and New York. He is an active lecturer and has given talks throughout Japan and the United States on topics such as technology transfer, international licensing strategies and Japanese patent law. He is a visiting professor at Kumamoto University and Tokyo University of Science and has lectured at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. Mr Yaguchi was a vice chairman of the Japanese Patent Attorney Association in 1998-1999 and is also a member of the International Trademark Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Association of University Technology Managers and the Licensing Executive Society International. He is qualified as a Patent Attorney admitted to practice before the Japan Patent Office, the Intellectual Property High Court and the Supreme Court / IP Infringement litigator for Intellectual Property Infringement Courtroom Litigation in Japan.
