College of engineering, Al-Mustansiriya university is one of the leading colleges in the field of thermal energy, environment engineering and HVAC topics. This company is concerned with consultancy, design and conducting projects in a wide variety of fields. These include HVAC, plumbing systems and food industry. These projects were conducted under my management on the basis of a consultancy contract.

The projects involved petroleum and oil industry, refinery design, food industry, HVAC, power generation plants, civil engineering projects and many other topics. The responsibility included the project design planning, Approval of the thermal design and workshop drawings, and the follow-up of equipment fabrication and installation.

My obligations of this position were:• Supervising the staff of the division. It constitute of a small group of engineers and technicians (5) members.• Verifying the thermal design of equipment executed within the tasks of the division.• Follow up the manufacturing process and assign any deviation may occur during the fabrication process and give the advice.• Chair some meetings with the group to discuss the division of obligations towards the design requirements and provide a remedy for and deviation that may arise. • Monitoring of the designed equipment integration with the rest items of the industrial line and participating in the final project operating.• Conducting a number of training courses in the field of thermal energy and heat transfer for skill enhancement of engineers working in the field of energy.

My main obligations were:• Reading and reflecting the design requirements on the (P&ID) and (PFD) diagrams of the projects, or prepare these diagrams upon request by the client.• Conduct the thermal design of the equipment according to the process requirements.• Follow up the fabrication stages with the manufacturer and check for the validation of the design and its agreement with the standards and requirements.• Participate in the installation of the equipment and its integration with the project layout.
