Leading the design of the Atlassian System of Work, our next transformation program to unify Atlassian’s products into a System of Work that defines how organizations should use our offerings within and across their teams.

Led the design team for the shared experiences across 4 Jira products within cross-functional teams in Europe, India and Australia. Direct design leadership for 25 designers embedded in 23 cross-functional delivery teams (~450 people), including direct management of 5 design managers. Key initiatives included Cloud Migration, scale for Enterprise customers, new feature design, piloting frameworks to guide platform experience flexibility, created recommendations for balanced teams (design ratios) across the organisation, and led the redesign of the global Atlassian navigation.

Full P&L responsibility for the business, including Marketing, Sales, People (internal staff, design, engineering, agile coaches), Finance, HR, and Operations. Product design and build (mobile, web, app, desktop) and VR/AR services for key clients such as Cochlear, Qantas Loyalty, Google, CBA, and several start-ups.

Set-up of the Strategic Design Practice (hiring and establishing the team in Sydney and Melbourne), developing Ways of Working, processes, and guiding initial ventures through the new business lab.

Accountable for the Sydney and Canberra studios including profitability and utilisation, sales, people, client relationships, and collaboration with Accenture on key accounts. Key clients included Sensis (Yellow and White Pages), Accenture Australia (internal redesign project), Samsung, and Digital Health Record.

Design Leadership at project level, accountable to for project deliverables, client relationship, the design team, and successfully extended individual projects into onsell work with key accounts, including Sensis and Lion.

Strategic Design on corporate ventures, partnering with BCG strategists and key corporate clients to deliver new value propositions in the market. Key client: Australia Post digital ID solution.

Started in strategic advisory for the office of the CIO then transitioned into strategic design as part of the founding team for the Innovation Lab (later became X15 Ventures). Key projects include Life Insurance redesign, emergency appeal donations, Employee of the Future, and widespread training of CBA staff in design thinking.
