• Currently working as Finance controller of GEMS India business and handling a team size of 7+• Responsible for MIS Reporting to Dubai team, consolidation of various MIS reports of Indian business, budgeting and treasury management, IFRS consolidation.• Direct/ Indirect taxes, statutory compliances, GST implementation and compliances thereto.• SAP implementation, Fund Planning, preparation of Project feasibility report and finalization of financial statements of the Group at various intervals• Actively participates in vendor’s negotiation and procurement meetings, under construction project payments disbursal from banks.• Taking care of corporate accounting and statutory reporting of GEMS India Business- To ensure effective implementation of all accounting policies and procedures, to interpret financial results And to provide management with the tools for future planning.- To ensure effective implementation of Policies & Procedures following local legislation and global best Practices.- To work closely with the procurement and projects teams to ensure proper financial support, control, Reporting and analysis of project progress• Key role in creating value for the business and functions by providing financial and operational analysis; ensuring statutory compliances, performing accounting, risk mitigation, and complex project management to address business, accounting, financial and taxation concerns.• Checking & assessing the value drivers of business and developing analytics to facilitate business decision-making, Identifying and preparing the Company for changes arising out any changes in Law or Accounting Practices, Timely and smooth completion of Internal, Statutory and Tax Audits, Transfer pricing, Ensure the compliance to various statutes, and developing robust internal control processes.• Tax Fillings & assessmentsLiasoning with bankers, financial institutions & other statutory authorities
