As a lead systems engineer, I was responsible for day to day Support and Administration for 6 separate production environments including IBM Websphere Ecomm, Production oracle “OLTP”, Disaster recovery, Production San environment utilizing 2 Hitachi Storage Arrays (NSC 55 and Lightning 9970v) and HP XP12000 on TIER I also DS4800,HP EVA on TIER II and Enterprise Brocade environment. I am also solely responsible for all administration and maintenance of Netapp filers with 45TB of disk space.• Designed, built and maintained ecomm environment for hdsupplysolutions.com consisting of F5 load balancer, IBM p series hardware including 505, 51A and 560 series server and Hitachi tagma store NSC 55.• Installed and configured TIER II SAN including DS4800 and HP EVA. Migrate data off from TIER I to TIER II SAN based on the requirements resulting on saving of over $250,000• Designed, Built and Maintained IBM NIM environment for AIX servers and routinely taking images from the production server to a centralize location• Migrated existing fiber channel environment consisting of 4 Brocade 3850 switches to director class Brocade 48000 to simplify storage administration. • Designed, Implemented and maintained offsite disaster Recovery environment. This was accomplished using cascading snap-mirroring and VERITAS VVR for the data on Hitachi tagma store NSC 55 for legacy Oracle environment.• Data Ontap upgrade from 7.2.2P2 to 7.2.4.1P6 on 6 filers including 4 remote filers.• Designed and implemented enterprise monitoring dashboard for over 2000 services in the production environment utilizing Nagios and Cacti. Worked with Application Admins to write custom application plugging.• Designed, Implemented and Maintained IBM HACMP for db2 ecomm environment.
