I am a general management, research development and manufacturing executive with hands on experience in developing computational methods and software. My career in the electronics materials and electronics industry spans more than 25 years. I have experience in general management, new product introduction, manufacturing operations, engineering development, global manufacturing engineering, product life cycle management, machine learning, supply chain management and Engineering software development, marketing and sales. I have been responsible for major cost reduction initiatives through improving yields, increasing throughput, reducing scrap and implementing control systems built on advanced modeling and statistical learning tools. My contributions to improvements in manufacturing come from an in-depth knowledge of factory physics tools, operations research, use of DEVS modeling, Statistical/Machine learning and six sigma methodologies. I have been personally responsible for leading development of new products, which have yielded over $ 2 B in sales in the last 7 years. I am also a big proponent and practitioner of using designed experiments to help in screening evaluations and using modeling, empirical and statistical learning tools to improve manufacturing process controls and performance. Using the above tools, I have reduced the typical new product development time frame from several years to mere weeks, and developed robust product and process performances. My areas of specific technical expertise include computational fluid dynamics, signal integrity, computational mechanics, computational electromagnetics, machine learning, materials science and polymer chemistries, operations research, product design and process modeling. As a major intellectual property developer, I am a named inventor on 10 issued U.S. patents and multiple pending and issued foreign patents.
