I had the incredible opportunity to undergo a comprehensive training program at Manipal Hospital, Patiala, where I gained extensive hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of biomedical engineering. This immersive training provided me with a solid foundation in various aspects of medical device management and troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities and Learning Areas:1. Electro-Mechanical Troubleshooting:This included identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues that could affect the performance and reliability of the equipment.2. Medical Devices Troubleshooting:My training also covered the comprehensive troubleshooting of medical devices.This hands-on experience enabled me to understand the intricacies of different medical devices, ensuring their smooth operation and enhancing patient care.3. Understanding the Working of Medical Devices:I delved into the functional aspects of devices such as ventilators, defibrillators, patient monitors, infusion pumps, and more.This knowledge not only helped me in troubleshooting but also in ensuring the proper calibration and maintenance of these critical devices.4. Medical Equipment Records Management:I was responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of all medical equipment. This included documenting maintenance schedules, repair histories, calibration reports, and compliance with regulatory standards.
