From the moment I wrote my first line of code, I knew I was hooked. The sheer power of software to solve problems, automate tasks, and build something from nothing captivated me. My undergraduate journey in Computer Science only deepened this curiosity, but I wanted more. I didn’t just want to know how things worked—I wanted to understand how technology could be used in real-world environments to make a tangible impact. That’s when I took the leap into my first full-time role as a Software Developer at First American Indian (FAI).At FAI, I found myself immersed in the intersection of data, technology, and strategy. I wasn’t just coding anymore—I was tracing data, building pipelines, designing systems, and collaborating across teams to turn ideas into products. Each project was a puzzle, with data at the heart of every solution. I learned that data could drive customer satisfaction, inform business decisions, and even prevent potential issues before they arose. It wasn’t just about getting the job done—it was about crafting innovative solutions that shaped the business.But the more I worked with data, the more I realized that the real magic happens when technology and leadership intersect. I became passionate about not only developing solutions but also guiding teams, fostering collaboration, and driving strategic decisions. This led me to pursue a master’s in Data Science at Warrington College of Business—a step that allows me to blend my technical skills with a deeper understanding of business strategy.For me, leadership is about creating an environment where creativity thrives and innovation is inevitable. I’m excited to continue this journey, working alongside people who are just as passionate about pushing boundaries and making a lasting impact. Together, we can reimagine what’s possible.
