The primary contributions concentrated in the area of design and development of the customer accounts, items, offers, sellers, distributors management services from scratch for the Walmart Global Ecommerce.Key Roles/Responsibilities:- Involved heavily in all phases of Software development lifecycle for the solution with valuable contributions in the early phases of design and prototyping.- Lead for the data migration activity for items, offers, sellers, distributors from the legacy system to the new architecture for Walmart.com.- Mentoring the campus recruits and assisting the newly joined engineers to quickly ramp up.- Contributed to the development of highly scalable restful services with high throughput and concurrency support.- Design and development of data change event management solution for offers, sellers, distributors and items data using publisher/subscriber architecture. The solution was designed to be asynchronous and near real-time.

Redesigned and architectured data infrastructure platform for Komli. Built a system for distributed data propagation from scratch, it collects terabytes of data/events from different kind of producers and transfers them to centralized location (hadoop hdfs).This system works across datacentres, all this in real time and providing varying degree of reliability from strong to weak.Fast data ware house which allows reporting, data slicing and dicing and analytics on billions of rows(Terabytes worth of data) with lots of dimensions. All this in seconds, giving real time querying experience. This system is built on top of columnar database.
