Tarun is a civil/structural engineer with over 23 years’ experience in the heavy civil engineering, port and harbour engineering, site investigations, and construction supervision of structural and civil engineering projects. He has worked on over 100 port related assignments comprising port & harbour planning and engineering.Tarun is also an expert on design and planning of LNG terminals, design of breakwaters and other coastal defence structures. His experience covers major developers in India such as Adani, JSW, DP World, AP Moller, Reliance, Essar all the way to smaller entrepreneurs. His achievements include the design of India’s largest LNG jetty, planning and design of India’s First FSRU based LNG Terminal, India's first multi storey Ro-Ro car park, design of India’s first Xbloc armoured breakwater, etc.Previously he has also successfully led and managed delivery of large and heavy engineering projects such as airport development, gas based power plants, container terminal, UK Network rail, etc.Project locations have covered most of the coastal states of India, most major ports as well covering the government sector as well as PPP and private sector projects.He also has extensive experience working overseas covering UK, Ireland, Yemen, Seychelles, Oman, Maldives, etc.
