Conduct daily audits and inspections and verify dimensions of stainless tubes, carbon tubes, andmachined parts using micrometers, Vernier calipers, Tensile testers, Burst testers, various gauges,optical comparators, co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM), or other specialized measuringinstruments. Evaluate products to verify compliance with customers’ qualitystandards and specifications. Check for any non-conformances like lack of fusion, cavities in the weld, mismatches, underthickness, cracks, spatter, etc. Review non-conforming products and write Non-Conformance Material Report (NCMR) and HOLDproducts in quarantine area using ERP visual software. Release the product from HOLD when theresults are confirmed acceptable. Approve products for onward shipment to customers, Assess supplier/raw material issues. Assist the purchasing department with vendor quality control. Collect samples for newly introduced parts for PPAP and SPC by measuring different geometries. Calibrate verniers, micrometers, ring and plug gauges, filler gauges, measuring tapes, etc. Critical analyze the weld geometry of the first off of the carbon tube specially used in airbagcomponents by using the microscope to measure weld bead heights, fusions, and undercut by verytight tolerances and according to specifications and requirements of the customers.

Setup and operate robot cells, change the jig and fixtures according to the particular type of model byadjusting the jig positions for a good quality of welding seam, within the specified temperature rangesand inspect the good-welded material for any missing welds or pinholes by ensuring the quality checkof all those parts are according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the company. Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) on a regular basis if any non-conformance in the products. Perform quality checks on the first-off, in-process parts using precision measuring tools like Verniercaliper, Micrometer, Hardness tester, and CMM. Troubleshoot cell, issues, solving and relaying them to the team leader and technicians for any majortechnical drawbacks. Troubleshoot the robotic line for any misfeed or malfunction.

Inspection of welded, machined, and fabricated parts, and sub-assemblies (including fiber andplastics) using different measurement instruments like vernier, micrometer, taper gauge, heightgauge, ring, plug gauge, attribute gauge, and CMM. Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) on a regular basis. Inspection of incoming materials and final products according to its specification and requirementsby following some standard operating procedures (SOPs) of the company. Performed root cause analysis and implemented corrective actions. Operated machines like the Milling, Lathe, Drilling, Grinding, and Cutting and monitored machinerylike the VMC and CNC operating.
