This involved conducting thorough performance evaluations using PL-SQL blocks, SQL Queries, and cost plan analysis. I also utilized techniques such as table scan analysis and DBMS Statistics reports. As a result, I successfully refactored the entire codebase by significantly reducing full table scans, implementing optimized index creations, and introducing efficient bulk processing logic.Recognizing Oracle's requirement for an improved Quoting product, I was entrusted by the management to develop a Proof of Concept (POC) followed by the complete product. I took charge of creating the initial version of the product, wherein I engineered a dynamic view render engine and pages, along with a simplified quoting rules engine. The resultant solution, Oracle Q and Web Quote empowered sales representatives and back-office analysts to swiftly generate quotes, opportunities, and sales orders through user-friendly web and mobile interfaces. This project was developed using the Oracle Apex and Application Development Framework.My achievements with Oracle Q and Web Quote were acknowledged by top-level executives, and I had the privilege of presenting this innovative solution to VPs across the Oracle board. Subsequently, I was selected to contribute to establishing the US headquarters and the Mexico Development center, where I played a pivotal role in training and explaining the Oracle Q and Oracle Web Quote systems to the new team.Furthermore, I successfully integrated Adobe EchoSign, enabling seamless online document signing for all orders. As a software developer at Nortel - Avaya, I played a crucial role in coding the NMS-EMS platform known as Quantum Framework. This platform orchestrates the entire communication process, from individual call handling to selecting the appropriate call server (X Messaging Server) that determines the best and shortest route for the target customer. Within the Quantum Framework, I had complete control over network elements and their configurations through the SNMP Protocol, which relayed the status of each network element. I was part of a skilled team of eight developers who collaborated on this project.During my tenure as a software developer at Alcatel Lucent, I contributed to developing the Network Analyzer (NA) Fiber and Service Management Platform (SMP). One of my notable achievements was creating an adapter that seamlessly connected the SMP and NA Fiber protocols. Based on the Adapter pattern, this adapter facilitated efficient communication and interaction between the two different products within Alcatel-Lucent. I took the lead on this task and successfully delivered the module, showcasing my ability to bridge the gap between other systems.
