I completed two projects during my summer training with Columbia Asia Hospital. The first project was based on increasing the number of incidents reported in pharmacy. The second one was to conduct an internal NABH audit for the pharmacy.During the internship tenure, I learnt each and every thing about pharmacy, and the operations and quality department of the hospital, as well. The second one was to conduct an internal NABH audit for the pharmacy.During the internship tenure, I learnt each and every thing about pharmacy, and the operations and quality department of the hospital, as well. My duties ranged from dispensing medicines to conducting Fishbone analyses of various errors. For my project on incident reporting, I closed about 500 incidents in 1 and a half months. I also helped with the re-order level generation and inventory management of the pharmacy. For the NABH audit, I went through the checklist provided by NABH and followed it, religiously. Show less
