I am a passionate and aspiring data scientist, pursuing an MSc Data Science degree at The University of Manchester. My goal is to apply cutting-edge techniques and tools to transform raw data into actionable insights that can drive positive outcomes for various domains and industries.Currently, I work as a Student Data Analyst at University of Manchester Students' Union (UMSU), where I create and maintain interactive dashboards using PowerBI to analyze and visualize data campaigns and surveys. I collaborate closely with the Research and Insight Team, extracting and transforming data from multiple sources using M/Power Query. Previously, I interned at Zeno Health, Mumbai's premier generic medicine-focused pharmacy, contributing to their data-driven approach by optimizing sales strategies and customer experiences across multiple store outlets, using Python, SQL, and Tableau. I also developed a Python script to automate the generation of complex reports, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency.Additionally, I have honed my skills in web development, data visualization, and text summarization through various projects and freelance work. I have developed a Python-based RSS scraper, a web platform for companies to hire laid-off employees, and a video editing and content creation service for small businesses. I have also created content-based and hybrid recommendation models to suggest articles to users based on their reading preferences, and used a text summarization algorithm to generate concise summaries of articles and keywords and titles. These experiences have not only showcased my passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, but also honed my skills in strategic planning and critical thinking.
