As an Operations Officer in the US Navy since Jun 2022, I oversee the superior customer service using operational efficiency and technical expertise in the evaluation of applicants through the application of established DoD standards in order to determine applicant eligibility for military service. I have 4.5+ years of experience as a Naval Surface Warfare Officer, where I led and trained teams of sailors, managed budgets and resources, and coordinated with other units and agencies. I have a Masters in Strategic Human Resources from University of Denver, where I learned how to align organizational goals and strategies with human capital management and development. I also have a BA in Human Development and Psychology from California State University San Marcos, where I gained insights into the social and psychological aspects of human behavior and relationships. I have strong skills in training, management, and Microsoft Excel, which I use to design and deliver effective learning programs, optimize operational efficiency and performance, and analyze and present data. I am passionate about serving my country, advancing my career, and developing my leadership and operational competencies.
