I'm proud to have carved out my marketing & strategy career for over a decade with industry & world leading companies such as BSkyB, BBC Worldwide, Media24, Wonga Finance and launched cutting edge technology, services & programming via intricate through the line campaigns.Apart from working on brand strategies I was also privileged to be part of the launch teams for UK-first technology namely Sky+ (the UK's first PVR), Sky HD, sky.com, Sky Mobile's enhanced applications and BBC HD et al. Whilst at Sky and BBC, I was part of the team that met every subscriber and ARPU target we were set, so I understand what it takes to meet sales, retention and brand awareness targets. My experience across the board stretches from consumer and B2B marketing, CRM, managing and enhancing crucial business relationships, meeting joint objectives for internal as well as external stakeholders as well as nurturing, inspiring and guiding marketing teams and agencies towards strategic business objectives.Since my return to SA, working in the magazine and financial services industry, I have gained valuable local experience. Not only of our diverse nation of consumers but importantly honed my commercial skills as well as gained business acumen involved in running a publishing and marketing division.
