Leads DG's involvement in the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI), participating in the Initiative for Open Ag Funding, and a program with UNICEF to use IATI data in country Aid Management Platforms.Lead the 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2018 AMP Good Practices Workshops which include participants from over ten countries to share lessons learned and continuously improve aid management.

Worked with the Laos Ministry of Planning and Investment to roll out and increase use of the Aid Management Platform. Coordinated and trained development organizations on how to provide quality data to the system, and use of the data analytics tools. Conducted training of trainers to the government Aid Effectiveness Department. Generated reports for meetings, including the annual Round Table Meeting.

Managed the fulfillment of and reporting on grant activities and use of funds. Conducted outreach to and briefed National Guard and Army Reserve units across Southern Utah on the Red Cross emergency services available. Managed volunteers and provided backup support for the Red Cross Armed Forces Communications, where family of military members could call to report an at-home emergency for verification and send an official request for military leave.

Updated ASPIRA’s Policy Brief which presented stakeholders information on over 90 pieces of significant legislation and ASPIRA’s policy concerning each piece. Represented ASPIRA at conferences and meetings and gave detailed reports on important issues and events that pertain to the non-profit and its members. Researched grant opportunities and worked on grant proposals for national and associate offices that would allow for a continuance and increase of ASPIRA programs and services.

Printed, packaged, graded, and filed over 500 exams a week that ensured students received their tests and grades as quickly and accurately as possible. Contacted and certified more than ten proctors and testing centers daily to increase availability of testing sites for students.

Cabarete, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

Lead 25 at-risk, Spanish speaking, ten-year-olds to ensure that they learned as much as possible and had as much fun as possible during the non-profit’s summer school and camp. Gave support to teachers to make sure class time was productive for all students and planned activities to keep students involved at all times of the day.
